Document 2 : a photo
The scene takes place in a street of a city. There are many people and many vehicles of different types. There are few cars but many rickshaws (pousse-pousse) and many pedestrians (des piétons) too. The place looks overcrowded / overpopulated (bondé/surpeuplé) and the buildings seem to be dilapidated (délabré). The people look poor/destitute (pauvre/démuni) since they can't afford (se permettre financièrement) to buy cars.
