CORRIGE DU COMPTE RENDU "AISLING"

Cet enregistrement est le témoignage d'une jeune femme irlandaise nommée Aisling qui nous parle de son parcours professionnel. Elle est consultante en finance/ affaires mais quand elle était à l'école, elle ne savait pas du tout ce qu'elle ferait dans la vie et elle avait un million d'idées. Elle a fini par s'inscrire à l'université pour y étudier le commerce. Par la suite, 2 de ses amis qui souhaitaient monter une entreprise de décoration d'intérieur lui ont demandé de les aider à établir le plan de financement. Aujourd'hui, elle travaille dans une agence en tant que consultante pour les jeunes entreprises à qui elle donne des conseils. Cela lui permet de rencontrer beaucoup de gens et de découvrir beaucoup de nouvelles entreprises. Cela lui plait beaucoup.


CORRIGE DE L EVALUATION "Transition Year in Ireland"

Ce document est un ensemble de témoignages de 3 jeunes irlandais, 2 garçons et 1 fille, qui nous parlent de leur année de transition en Irlande.
Le 1er garçon nous explique que l'année de transition peut se faire à l'âge de 16 ans et qu'elle est suivie des 2 dernières années du cycle terminal qui clot les études secondaires. Il est au milieu de son année de transition et il explique qu'il n'a ni devoirs, ni evaluations écrites mais qu'ils travaillent en projets.
La 1ere fille quant à elle, raconte qu'elle continue d'étudier des matières classiques comme l'anglais, l'irlandais ou les maths, ainsi que d'autres matières mais qu'avec ses camarades de classe, elle travaille sur un projet permettant de récolter de l'argent pour une oeuvre caritative : ils organisent un concours de talents pour lequel ils créent des prospectus et des publicités. Cela leur permet d'apprendre des compétences différentes et de travailler en équipe.
Le 2eme garçon parle des experiences professionnelles qu'il a faites jusqu'à présent : 1 semaine dans un supermarché et une autre dans un garage. Bientôt il fera aussi un stage chez un architecte et il est impatient.

Magarpatta is the first smart city built in India. It used to be a sugar cane field owned by a farmer. Now, in 2017, it has been turned into 26 IT (Information Technology) parks. The farmer's family owned 35 hectares of land taht was sold to investors.
8 new smart cities are planned to be built between New Delhi and Mumbai.

2. Explain what is special about this city
Magarpatta is a showcase city. It means that it is a perfect example of an efficient, safe and clean environment and represents the ideal cities that are to be built in India. It differs radically from traditional Indian cities.

3. Give information on Shankar Magar (job, place of living) and explain what has changed for him and his family.
Shankar Magar used to own farming lands that he sold to investors 15 years ago. In his farm, he had a cow shed, livestock, a home and 35 hectares of sugar cane fields. Their life is not the same anymore, it has been a dramatic (spectaculaire) change for them.

4. Write the definition of a smart city (role, investors and priorities)
a smart city is a rapidly built city on lands once owned by farmers. Investors finance smart city projects because they represent the best of modernity in India. They provide the latest amenities, promote start-up companies and are the places where social issues such as gender equality and social equality are tackled. Some consider them to be landmarks of progress in India.
